Biography of Ambassador Huang Ping

Huang Ping was born in January 1963. He had the Master degrees of Arts and Public Administration.

1983-1985 Clerk, the Department of Treaty and Law of the Chinese Foreign Ministry

1985-1987 Studying at China Foreign Affairs University

1987-1988 Member of Lecture Group of the CPC Central Committee to teach in Hubei province

1988-1990 Attaché and Third Secretary, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America

1990-1999 Third Secretary, Deputy Director and Director, the Department of Consular Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry

1999-2002 Counsellor, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Canada

2002-2004 Deputy Mayor, Shaoxing city in Zhejiang province

2004-2006 Deputy director-general, the Department of Consular Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry

2006-2010 Consul-general, the Consulate of the People's Republic of China in Chicago

2010-2015 Director-general, Department of Consular Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry

2015.10-     Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Married with one son.
