Ambassador Guo Shaochun meets with Zimbabwean Minister of
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Moyo

On April 11th, Ambassador Guo met with Sibusiso Moyo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, exchanging views on further developing the China-Zimbabwe relations and pragmatic cooperation.

Ambassador Guo reviewed recent cooperation outcomes between the two countries. Two sides should actively implement the Eight Major Initiatives of FOCAC through cooperation and innovation. The two countries need to deepen cooperation in manufacturing, infrastructure and finance, injecting more impetus to bilateral pragmatic cooperation and elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership to a higher level.

Moyo highly commended the assistance the Chinese government and Chinese institutions in Zimbabwe had provided for the recent hurricane. China is Zimbabwe's true friend. Zimbabwe attaches great importance to the relationship with China and will cooperate with China under the framework of FOCAC, promote high-level exchanges, strengthen policy coordination, and deepen cooperation in finance and other fields, so as to benefit the two peoples and two countries.
