Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe held the 2019 Exchange Meeting

Recently, the 2019 Exchange Meeting Between the Zimbabwe Law Enforcement Authorities and the Chinese Communities was held in the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe. Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe H.E. Mr. Guo Shaochun, Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Hon. Mr. Cain Mathema, officials from Zimbabwe Republic Police, Department of Immigration and Legal Services and Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International, representatives from Chinese Communities attended the Meeting.

Ambassador Guo Shaochun thanked Zimbabwe law enforcement authorities for their long-term efforts to promote the development of the Chinese communities in Zimbabwe and to protect the securities and properties of Chinese nationals. Hon. Mr. Cain Mathemasaid said that the traditional friendship between Zimbabwe and China is profound and the cooperation in various fields has achieved fruitful results. The law enforcement authorities of Zimbabwe will do their utmost to provide foreign investors with a safe and stable working and living environment. At the meeting, the Embassy  invited the CID officer to brief the latest progress of police investigation on criminal cases involving Chinese nationals. Representatives from both sides also conducted in-depth communication on issues such as visa policy, social security and legal use of firearms.
