Distinguished guests,

Ladies and gentlemen,

Thank you for attending today’s reception. Today’s function serves as a good opportunity for us not only to thank all the Chinese foreign aid workers for their hardworking, but also to review the practical China-Zimbabwe cooperation and further strengthen our traditional friendship.

As we all know, China and Zimbabwe enjoy a profound traditional friendship. The Chinese Government and people value its traditional friendship with Zimbabwe, view Zimbabwe as a trustworthy friend and important partner and provide assistance to Zimbabwe within its capacity. In the spirit of friendship, peace, cooperation and development, we conduct the aid projects that carry our friendship for the Zimbabwean people and show our sincere help for our Zimbabwean brothers. Under the framework of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), Chinese medical aid team, Confucius Institute, agricultural aid team and PLAIT come to Zimbabwe and play a very important role in transferring the friendship of Chinese people to Zimbabwe, expanding our cooperation in health, culture, agriculture and military field and implementing the 8 measures promised by China. They are actually the “backbones” of friendship and cooperation between our two countries. For this, let’s give them another round of applause!

Ladies and gentlemen,
